Nerves, presence and confidence

Does hypnosis work for public speaking anxiety?

Yes. You rehearse the talk in trance until the stage feels familiar, then carry an anchor that brings that calm back as you walk up. Read the full answer

Can hypnotherapy help with performance anxiety?

Yes. Hypnotherapy resets the automatic response behind nerves, so composure shows up on cue instead of having to be managed. Read the full answer

How can I overcome stage fright?

By closing the gap between rehearsal and the real thing: sharper focus, faster recovery from slips, and nerves turned into energy. Read the full answer

Can hypnotherapy help with imposter syndrome?

Yes. Tim combines hypnosis, NLP and executive coaching so you hold authority calmly, especially in a new role or at a higher level. Read the full answer

Does hypnotherapy work for confidence?

Yes. You rehearse the moment that matters until assurance becomes the natural response, then leave with tools to switch it on at will. Read the full answer

How effective is hypnotherapy for stress and anxiety at work?

It gives high performers fast, practical ways to come down after intense days and sleep well before big ones, so they return sharper. Read the full answer

NLP, hypnosis and how it works

What is NLP coaching, and how does it work?

NLP maps how you already perform at your best and makes that state repeatable on demand; coaching ties it to concrete goals. Read the full answer

Is NLP coaching legit?

Look at who trained your coach. Tim trained with both co-founders of NLP, Richard Bandler and John Grinder, and has practised since 2004. Read the full answer

What is performance hypnosis, and is it real?

It's focused rehearsal in a relaxed, absorbed state, closer to the concentration of a great performance than to sleep, and you stay in control. Read the full answer

What's the difference between coaching and hypnotherapy?

Coaching sets the goal and holds you to it; hypnotherapy resets the automatic response; NLP makes your best repeatable. Tim uses all three. Read the full answer

How long do the effects of hypnosis last?

The gains are built to keep growing: you own the anchors and self-hypnosis, and keep using them between sessions and after. Read the full answer

Booking & practical

What happens in the free consultation?

A short phone or video conversation, 15 to 30 minutes long. Describe the event or goal and its date, and Tim sets out how he'd prepare you and the number of sessions to allow. No obligation.

Where do sessions take place?

Face to face in Farringdon, EC1, at 9 Coldbath Square, or on Teams or Zoom from your office, home or hotel room. Team workshops can come to you.

How many sessions will I need?

A performance programme is 7 hours, usually five sessions, and covers many goals. Tim suggests a plan at the free consultation, built around your timeline. See fees.

My event is close. Is there still time?

Yes. Sessions can be scheduled close together, with a final one just before the day. Get in touch as early as you can.

Will I lose control in hypnosis?

No. You hear everything and can stop whenever you like. Think of it as deep, absorbed concentration, not sleep.

Is it confidential if my employer is paying?

Yes. Organisations receive agreed attendance and invoicing information only, never what you discuss with Tim.

Can you help with anxiety, sleep or habits?

Yes, through Tim's other practices: Central London Hypnotherapy and Online Hypnotherapy.
